Maybe you’re a natural leader.
If any of the above sounds like you, Art Education might be your major.
Our Art Education program will equip you with top-notch teaching skills and give you real-world classroom experiences in local schools, museums, community arts settings, and even Moore's own Young Artists Workshop program, for grades 3–12.
No matter where you end up, you'll apply what you learn to enrich the lives of others and make a huge impact.
Right: Laura Barrett ’22, Art Education.

I enjoyed every second of my Art Education coursework and the extracurricular experiences I pursued. My favorite experiences were moments when I spent time working with young children and they learned about the world around them through art-making experiences.

MEET KENDYL BOYD ’21
Kendyl is an educator, fine artist and now, an admissions counselor at Moore, where her journey began! After graduation, Kendyl took on a community engagement role at a museum in Philadelphia, but it wasn't long before her enthusiasm for teaching drew her back to the classroom. She taught second grade at Friends Select School before pursuing her current role at Moore. “Moore prepared me well," she says. "I had a lot of opportunities to work with young people and observe classrooms, which gave me a lot of field insight into the age group that I wanted to work with."
