Maybe you’re a hands-on kind of person.
If any of the above sounds like you, Fine Arts might be your major.
In Fine Arts, the possibilities for making are endless. Whether you pursue painting, sculpture, metalwork, ceramics, performance or installation, you’ll learn exactly what it takes to lead a successful career as a practicing studio artist and professional. You’ll learn from working artists with successful practices and exhibition histories, meet with visiting artists, go on fun field trips to museums and galleries, and show off your work to the public at annual Open Studios events.
You'll also get access to brand-new studios and maker spaces for sculpture, ceramics, woodworking, metal work and more—and that’s just on Moore’s campus. Inspiration awaits, mere steps away, at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Barnes Foundation, Rodin Museum, and much more.
P.S. Did we mention that you get your very own studio space in your junior and senior years?

When I was looking at colleges, I wanted to go somewhere located in a city with a large museum culture. Moore was perfect, being right into the museum district. I can walk a couple blocks and look at paintings I've learned about in my art history classes.
