Pronouns: She / Her / They / Them
My current body of work centers around imagery related to kink, sex, and other forms of play. Painting the body and representative marks, I attempt to visually express feelings and emotions from my own experiences with alternative forms of connection and intimacy. Touch and physical sensation are central to my visuals. This is how, for me, these moments of emotional expression and connection between partners are both felt and communicated. Ultimately this project is for my own processing, self-expression, and enjoyment. However, I believe there is also a lot of value in others seeing this work. We are consistently fed an image of kink by the media and others that only highlights a small portion of what it really is. In showing some of kink's tenderness and complexities I hope to open some people's minds and challenge some preconceived notions others might have.
