Artist Statement
The Tarot card The Fool (0), can be put either at the beginning of the Major Arcana or at the end. I’d like to think that they sit at the beginning and the other 21 cards tell the story of the Fool’s journey. The Fool stands precariously at the edge of a cliff, knapsack in hand, not worried about where the journey will take them. It’s full of ups and downs but in the end, they understand it all. I find myself relating to The Fool in this way. At the start of this project, I was unsure where the journey would take me but like the Fool, I was ready to face whatever challenges came my way.
