What is this workshop?

Learn how successful entrepreneurs and innovators come up with market-winning ideas. Contrary to popular belief, success rarely comes from a brilliant (or lucky) founder working in isolation. Instead, success is usually the result of teams applying time-tested techniques to uncover unmet needs and underserved markets.

During this hands-on, fast-paced session, you’ll have the opportunity to practice two different techniques based on design thinking and lean startup best practices. And take away practical next steps to turn your idea into a reality.

Who are the workshop facilitators?

Tim Daniel, SOS Group and former instructor at Wharton Small Business Development Center at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a consultant for Wiley (publishers of “Business Model You”, “Value Proposition Design”, and “Business Model Generation”).

Joe Mazzarella, NextStage Associates, MBA, consultant, advisor and investor.

Who should attend?

This workshop is ideal for entrepreneurial students and Business Minors, plus recent alumni who are thinking about starting or are at the concept-development stage of a budding business. If you’d like to learn how to create a product or service that will take off in the marketplace, please join us.
