A Moore professor and his artist wife are encouraging others to make DIY art galleries as a way to support other artists during the coronavirus pandemic.

Two outstanding Moore Illustration seniors have been recognized for their leadership skills and community engagement.

Illustration major Allison Warren '20 recently emailed Moore's Marketing & Communications Department to say how proud she is that Moore donated masks and gowns to health care workers.

Assistant Professor of Illustration Joe Kulka commemorated the 50th anniversary of Earth Day with a new illustration of Woodsy Owl for the USDA Forest Service.

"I like to work on projects that can go on for the long run. Projects that can be remembered, so someone can go: 'Hey! Remember [x]?'"

Moore commended the achievements of its students in a first-ever virtual Honors Convocation held Tuesday evening, April 21, 2020.

"This has been an unprecedented change for all of us, and I remain in awe of our resiliency and how we have come together as a community."

Accepted Student Day is an event held every spring where we get to welcome the incoming class to campus and connect them with the Moore community.
