    Moore College of Art & Design and Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) have signed a new agreement that will allow students to seamlessly transfer to Moore, a historically all-women’s visual arts college, to complete their bachelor’s degrees. Representatives from Moore and MCCC signed the agreement Wednesday, September 9.

    A new, temporary art display, Color Under the Canopy, debuted at Sister Cities Park in Logan Square. The project was designed and executed by local artist Janell Wysock, a 2004 Moore alumna.

    Moore marked National Voter Registration Day September 22 by helping students register to vote for the fall election. Members of the Student Government Association set up a table in the atrium area of The Galleries at Moore to provide registration forms, information, stickers and masks on the ninth anniversary of the day.

    Antoinette Liguori Sirianni is a second-year MFA student in the Socially Engaged Studio Art program. She is an environmentally-minded artist who is particularly interested in reusing and repurposing non-recyclable, single-use plastics into pieces of art that highlight the consequences of these materials on our planet and their use in our society. Her MFA in Progress exhibition is on view November 7 - 14 in The Galleries at Moore.
