Internationally renowned fashion designer and Moore alumna Adrienne Vittadini ’66 visited the college on April 18 to critique and select the garment, designed by a Fashion Design senior, for her award being presented at Moore College of Art & Design’s production of “Century 21 Department Store presents FASHION SHOW 2018” on May 11.

After reviewing the individual pieces in the Great Hall with the assistance of Fashion Design Chair Nasheli Ortiz and Professor Janice Lewis, she went to the fourth floor studios to see additional garments in some of the seniors’ collections. It remains a mystery until show time as to who will receive the Adrienne Vittadini ’66 Award.

Adrienne then spent time with sophomore fashion designers, providing them with tips about what to be prepared for in the fashion industry and shared stories of her travels with Cambodian native Sophia Demers and Drashti Pandya, who hails from India.
