Ashleen Castillo '20 won Philly Fashion Week's Next Up Student Designer Showcase Wednesday night, September 25, held at the new Fashion District Philadelphia.
Castillo's peach and blue Caribbean designs took the first prize of $1,000, plus she won an interview with the founder of New York Fashion Week, Fern Mallis.
Castillo participated along with Moore Fashion Design grads Shaneika Hamilton '19 and Shoalyn Brown '19. Designers from Drexel University and Harcum College were also featured.
