Five projects by Moore Graphic Design majors have been selected as 2018 Adobe Achievement Awards semifinalists. This is a global student competition that celebrates student achievement reflecting the powerful convergence of technology and the creative arts. The finalists and winners will be selected on August 10 and 11 when judges gather at Adobe’s San Francisco offices to review all semifinalists.

The competition, which showcases individual and group projects created with industry-leading Adobe creative software, honors the most talented and promising student graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, animators, digital filmmakers, developers and computer artists from the world‘s top institutions of higher education. There is a total of 14 categories divided in three main segments: Fine Arts, Commercial and Social Impact
Designers entering may submit up to three entries, per different category, for a maximum of 42 possible entries per contestant. The work must be created primarily (50 percent or more) with the Adobe tools designated in each category and be accompanied by original digital files in Adobe software if requested.
