Graphic Design alumni Randi Bellamy ’17 and Sarah Lorenz ’16 were both runners up in Creative Quarterly: The Journal of Art & Design’s recent competition.  Randi, for her graphic design entry titled “A Dying Art” and Sarah, for her fine arts entry, “Recovery.”   Creative Quarterly is an international journal that focuses on promoting the work of the creative community.

Graphic Design alumni Sam Hurst Wallis ’13 and Brittany Slopey ’12 will return to campus on February 6 to participate in a lunchtime panel presentation for students and the Moore Community, titled “Designing Women: Graphic Design in the Real World, Professional Experiences of Moore’s Graphic Design Alumni”  

According to Gigi McGee, president of the Faculty Forum and professor of Graphic Design, “The idea is to give students an idea of professional options out there in ‘the real world.’ Each panelist will prepare a digital visual presentation that showcases their work followed by a Q+A.”  

Sam’s work as a designer with Bailey Brand Consulting involves creating a variety of visual materials for clients to help develop cohesive brand identities. From packaging to print to web, she is responsible for crafting a seamless brand experience.

Brittany is employed with The Brownstein Group, a firm that offers integrated communications that encompass brand strategy, digital, advertising, design, public relations, content creation & social media. The Agency serves international, national and regional clients such as IKEA, eBay, Comcast, Saint-Gobain North America, Beneficial Bank, Western Union, Ricoh, La Colombe, K12 and Campus Apartments.
