The Illustration majors took a field trip to Washington DC on October 11th to visit the National Portrait Gallery and view the Drawn to Purpose exhibition of women illustrators and cartoonists at the Library of Congress.
The curator of the exhibit, Martha Kennedy, met with the students to give them a behind-the-scenes look at how she went about putting the exhibition together and some interesting facts about the artists she included.
