Juniors in the Interior Design Studio IV class and the Graphics Typography IV: Expressive Type class joined forces for a Pop-Up Shop project.

The Interior Design students developed a mood board and expressed their ideas for their individual menswear brands and presented them to the Graphic Design students. The GD students came up with ideas for logos, hang tags and shopping bags. The ID students then selected and incorporated the graphics design packages into their Pop-Up Shop designs and presentations.

This year, the menswear brands that the ID students designed for included Burberry, Diesel, Hurley, Duluth Trading Co., Nike, Tommy Bahama and Nautica.

"Exchanging ideas and working together to develop the design and graphics package was exciting for the students," said Interior Design Assistant Professor Francine Martini. "The students learned to work across disciplines to develop a cohesive design."
