Kimberly McLinden '17 faces off with other interns for designer Hayley Paige in the new show Hayley Ever After: The Dress Saturday, January 13 at 9 p.m. on TLC.

"During the show, you will see me apply everything that I learned from Moore as I go on this journey," McLinden said. The former Fashion Design student served as an intern during her junior year for the Alvina Valenta and ti adora lines at the bridal house JLM Couture in New York City.

"The internship was not only a great learning experience, but I met many creative people from all parts in the industry that helped make brides' dreams come true," McLinden said. Shortly after graduation, McLinden was asked by JLM Couture to intern for Hayley Paige and compete with her other interns to impress the season 11 Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe in Hayley's show. The show was filmed during the fall.

"The show will be full of surprises and I am excited to watch," McLinden said.

McLinden currently works as an assistant designer for a custom couture company in Brooklyn, New York.

"I still live in Bucks County, so the travel time is about 5.5 to 6 hours, but it's great for experience," she said. "I learned so much from Moore academically and personally, and I can't wait to see where I'll go next!"
