"Moore College of Art & Design is delighted to launch a new agreement with Delaware College of Art and Design that creates a clear point of entry and pathway into Moore’s Bachelor of Fine Arts programs for DCAD’s associate degree graduates," said Moore President Cecelia Fitzgibbon. "Moore’s BFA programs are outstanding, and we look forward to welcoming DCAD's well-qualified and highly motivated transfer students to the Moore College community."

DCAD President Jean Dahlgren was equally pleased with the pact.

"Our new 2+2 agreement with Moore College of Art & Design will provide Delaware College of Art and Design’s talented women a wonderful opportunity to continue their education and complete a bachelor's degree in an environment just as supportive, nurturing and rigorous as DCAD," Dahlgren said. "We are thrilled that as an additional benefit, Moore is making scholarships available to students based on their grade-point average and portfolio of work."

Under the agreement, which will commence for students planning to enroll at Moore for fall 2019, 2020 and 2021, Moore will waive the application fee and portfolio requirement and provide preferred scheduling of advising and course enrollment.

Joining Fitzgibbon and Dahlgren at the signing on Monday, November 12, were Patricia C. Phillips, academic dean of Moore College of Art & Design, and Katy Ro, dean of Delaware College of Art and Design.
