The quality and character of a college is shown most evidently through its faculty, and Moore College of Art & Design is no exception.
Moore's dedicated teachers spur creativity in students, serve the college and community, and pursue their own intellectual and creative passions through research, scholarship and professional work.
"Through their work, inspired faculty members play a consequential role, creating the conditions for students to question, imagine and think boldly," said Academic Dean Patti Phillips.
Moore is pleased to announce these faculty promotions, approved by the Board members at their meeting in February. The promotions and new titles take effect this fall.
Jonathan Wallis, PhD, was promoted to professor. He teaches classes in Liberal Arts and Art History.
Richard Harrington has been promoted to professor of Illustration.
Asuka Goto, who teaches in Foundation and Fine Arts, has been promoted to associate professor.
Congratulations to these outstanding faculty members!
