The discussion was an informative and engaging opportunity to bring students, staff and faculty together in order to build a stronger sense of community at Moore. The Diversity Committee is looking forward to hosting more Uncomfortable Talks in the future to address concerns impacting our community. The discussion was completely student-led, with the intention of highlighting current student experiences. Annais Delgado ‘22 did an excellent job facilitating the event and organizing the event presentation. We collaborated with Moore alum Kendyl Boyd ‘21 to gain more insight about the discussion points we should address based on her experiences at Moore. We also gathered recommendations from members of the Moore Diversity Committee to effectively implement into the event.
