Blake Bradford

Moore adjunct faculty member Blake Bradford passed away on Friday, October 21. He was a valued arts advocate, educator, writer and mentor in the Philadelphia arts community.

Bradford spearheaded a program at Lincoln University with the Barnes Foundation to diversify the museum field. He spoke about this program at a panel at Moore in 2016. Watch it here:

Bradford taught in the Socially Engaged Art graduate program, and, as an adjunct professor in the Liberal Arts department at Moore, many students had the opportunity to learn from Bradford, and his warmth and excitement will be remembered by everyone in the Moore community.
