Eighteen Moore Fashion Design seniors set the stage for a stunning and dramatic evening for over 600 guests at the Century 21 Stores presents S/S 2019 Fashion Show Friday night, May 17, 2019.
The students presented their collections in the beautiful Annenberg Court at The Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia. Collections included ready-to wear, genderless fashions, children's swimwear and plus-size bridalwear.
Presenting collections were Ashleen Castillo, De-transformacion; Shaneika Hamilton, Transmutation; Mandy McGarrigle, Zone III; Jennifer Myers, One Minute Until Midnight; Destinee Williams, Glow to the Beach; Symone Burgess, Pass the Mic; Brianna Averhart, Gen-der; Minh 'May' Lam, Marguerite; Atiya Joanne Lewis, Out of the Dark - Into the Light; Shoalyn Opal Brown, Submerged Beauty; Destiny Garner, Black Unicorns; Miiann Williams, Rich Pour; Samira Alhassan, Ohema; Tytianna Broadwater, Dear Little Brown Girl; Desiree Brienza, X; Cori Berman, AnSxSiety; Kristy Tsang, Mercurious; and Riley High, Virtue.

Critics Award: Riley High, $500, presented by Moore alumna Christina Gorman, senior vice president for design and merchandising for Butter Supersoft.
Best Design Workmanship Award, sponsored by EMD Performance Materials: Ashleen Castillo, $500
Century 21 Best Merchandised Award: Cori Berman, $500, presented by Laura Oliver, general store manager of Century 21's Philadelphia store.
Century 21 Best in Show Award: Shaneika Hamilton, $500, presented by Laura Oliver, general store manager of Century 21's Philadelphia store.
A brand-new award, the New York Fashion Week Award, was presented to Ashleen Castillo and Destiny Garner. They will participate in New York Fashion Week September 6 - 14.
Sponsors included Century 21 Stores, EMD Performance Materials, Butter Supersoft and Adrienne Vittadini '66.
Special thanks to students and professors from Jean Madeline Aveda Institute for donating their time in doing hair and makeup on the models.

Award-winning garments will be on display at Century 21's Philadelphia store at Eighth and Market streets.
