Eighteen Moore Fashion Design seniors set the stage for a stunning and dramatic evening for over 600 guests at the Century 21 Stores presents S/S 2019 Fashion Show Friday night, May 17, 2019.

The students presented their collections in the beautiful Annenberg Court at The Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia. Collections included ready-to wear, genderless fashions, children's swimwear and plus-size bridalwear.

S/S 2019 Fashion Show award winners:

Adrienne Vittadini Ready-to-Wear Award: Ashleen Castillo, $500

Adrienne Vittadini Activewear Award: Symone Burgess, $500

Critics Award: Riley High, $500, presented by Moore alumna Christina Gorman, senior vice president for design and merchandising for Butter Supersoft.

Best Design Workmanship Award, sponsored by EMD Performance Materials: Ashleen Castillo, $500

Century 21 Best Merchandised Award: Cori Berman, $500, presented by Laura Oliver, general store manager of Century 21's Philadelphia store.

Century 21 Best in Show Award: Shaneika Hamilton, $500, presented by Laura Oliver, general store manager of Century 21's Philadelphia store.

A brand-new award, the New York Fashion Week Award, was presented to Ashleen Castillo and Destiny Garner. They will participate in New York Fashion Week September 6 - 14.

Special thanks to students and professors from Jean Madeline Aveda Institute for donating their time in doing hair and makeup on the models.

The program cover design was by Fashion Design senior Shoalyn Opal Brown '19, photograph by Anexis Morales. The promotional campaign print design was by Graphic Design student Tyler Shea '19.

Award-winning garments will be on display at Century 21's Philadelphia store at Eighth and Market streets.
