Moore opened its doors Saturday, April 27, 2019, to prospective students and their parents for Spring Open House. The audience packed the Great Hall for a welcome by President Cecelia Fitzgibbon, and a presentation by sophomore Graphic Design major Madison Phillips. Faculty members then led the attendees on studio tours by majors. Student ambassadors took over to show the prospective students Moore's FABLAB, the Print Center, newly renovated Connelly Library, The Galleries at Moore, The Art Shop and residence halls. A popular stop was the Atrium in The Galleries for portfolio reviews. Attendees were also able to connect with teams from Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Affairs, the Locks Career Center, Academic Services, Continuing Education, Liberal Arts and more. Guests were treated to lunch in the Great Hall, where they learned about Sage Dining Services, as well as how to make their portfolios outstanding.
