Moore students kicked off the radiothon celebrating the Leeway Foundation's 25th anniversary with open mic performances Friday, November 9.
Students played guitar and sang, gave commentary on the environment, and performed songs from musicals.
The radiothon, broadcast on Moore's TGMR (The Galleries at Moore Radio), runs through noon Saturday.

Pulling Focus with Gretjen Clausing, November 9, 5 - 6 pm. Pulling Focus zooms in on what's happening in film and digital media culture in Philadelphia and beyond, and guests include filmmakers, curators, critics, scholars and archivists about film, current events and pop culture, all while putting great soundtracks and film score music in the foreground.
You Can't Kill a Poet, with Boston Gordon and Kai Davis, November 9, 7 - 8 pm. You Can't Kill a Poet is a bi-monthly reading series for queer and trans-identified Philadelphia poets, writers and performance artists to come together to share their diverse work.
Dance Workshop with Dinita Clark, November 9, 8 - 9 pm. Join dancer, educator and choreographer Dinita Clark for a house dance class. The class is an open-level fun, interactive, explorative and energetic class that provides foundation, technique and a positive atmosphere. This class embodies the club atmosphere in the classroom.
Ants on a Log, November 10, 11 am - 12 pm. Philly's favorite folksy duo performs music for children and other childlike people, songfully advocating for positivity, social justice and silliness.
