Dallam, a 1966 Moore graduate and a 2012 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, was honored for her years of teaching art when she received the Pennsylvania Art Education Association’s Legacy Award.

Game enthusiasts from Moore joined game jammers from all over the world in this year's Global Game Jam, held January 25 to January 28.

“Don’t listen to what people tell you that you can or can’t do,” she said. “If you have to get that second job to fund your passion, I understand that, but don’t give up on it, don’t make it secondary.”

It is because she wasn’t able to finish her art training at Moore that Biles has established the Marilyn Biles Endowed Merit Scholarship.

Janet Biggs '81 has won a 2018 Guggenheim Fellowship for Creative Arts. Biggs, a 2016 Distinguished Alumna, is an accomplished multimedia artist who has traveled the world for her art.
