Julie Rainbow is a second-year MFA student in the Socially Engaged Art Program. She is a storyteller, photographer and researched-based artist who shares stories of those whose voices are not typically heard, but whose messages call out to be told. Julie’s MFA in Progress exhibit is on view December 2–9 in The Galleries at Moore.

Emily Whynott is a second-year MFA student in the Socially Engaged Art program. Her studio practice uses commonplace materials to create wonky, imperfect sculptures. Her work explores the idea of how food can be used to forge connection and conversation. Emily’s MFA in Progress exhibit is on view November 12–19 in The Galleries at Moore.
